Notably, this building, which formerly served as a mortuary, features an entrance that was utilized for admitting deceased individuals. Remarkably, it was the initial establishment in the city to provide facilities specifically catering to matters involving mortality.

The pub has more than just regulars who enjoy a pint. One of its most famous patrons is Charlie, a friendly ghost who seems to love live music as much as anyone. Often spotted near the Guinness mirror, Charlie appears, tips his derby hat, and vanishes into thin air.
