Investigated on
The Goldfield Hotel was constructed in 1908 in the mining town of Goldfield, Nevada. It was considered a luxurious establishment during its prime years. It contained marble floors and magnificent crystal chandeliers that drew miners and entrepreneurs amidst the gold rush eras. But as the gold rush faded, so did the town’s fortunes. By the 1940s, the hotel had closed its doors for good. These days it still sits as a dominant structure in town and attracts fans of the supernatural.
In what once was the main dining room in The Goldfield Hotel, called ‘The Gold Room’, lurks a spirit that locals call ‘The Stabber’. He hides around that particular area with what people say is a kitchen knife. His blade has not harmed people, but they do say they get a hell of a fright. He usually lunges at people then seconds later will disappear.
