Seven Sisters Road, located in Otoe County, southeast Nebraska, carries a haunting legend from the early 1900s. The story centers on a young man who lived with his parents and seven sisters on a farm near Nebraska City. After a heated argument with his family, he led his sisters one by one to the top of seven hills and hanged them from the trees. Over time, only four of the original seven hills remain, with the road cutting through this eerie landscape today.
Numerous individuals have encountered issues with their vehicles stalling, headlights inexplicably dimming, speedometers freezing, and windows moving up and down seemingly by themselves when passing through the region. Additional accounts mention witnessing obscure figures in the darkness, perceiving red eyes that seem to be observing them, hearing voices and faint whispers, and encountering abrupt shifts in wind direction.
