Constructed initially as a place of seclusion, there exist two structures known as Bracken Fern Manor and the esteemed Tudor House. Positioned on opposing sides of the thoroughfare, the Tudor House, back in the days of prohibition, underwent a transformation into a clandestine establishment catering exclusively to Hollywood’s upper echelon, under the management of the infamous gangster known as “Bugsy” Siegel. On the other hand, the manor assumed the role of a brothel.
George Copp, an individual who has resided in Lake Arrowhead for a considerable period, has encountered instances involving spectral apparitions within the premises of the Tudor House. The initial encounter of a paranormal nature transpired whilst he was occupied with repairing the roof of the Tudor House. During this encounter, he observed the presence of a Native American woman adorned with brown tresses. The sighting took place within the confines of the basement. It is worth noting that the proximity of a pungent odor resembling that of decaying sulphur is believed to indicate her presence.
