Dolly’s House History
Dolly Arthur, the most renowned protistute in Ketchikan, inhabited this residence. It served as her abode from 1919 until the 1940s, but also acted as her business establishment. Even after the red-light district’s permanent closure in 1954, Dolly remained the sole surviving lady of the line to dwell by the creek for another two decades until her demise. Within the walls of Dolly’s House, one can find an array of antiques, vintage snapshots, and concealed compartments formerly employed for storing alcohol.
